Art Youngstown with Youngstown State University proudly presented the
"Three Letters Youngstown Project"

Area artists created banners incorporated with the letters Y, S, and U on one side of various size banners displayed during Youngstown State University's "Summer Festival of the Arts".

On the other side of the banners,  the artists,  depicted Youngstown in their own concept using red, black and white.

The Three Letters Youngstown Project will kicked off July 9th, 2010.  Artists had the opportunity to hang their banners for dispaly at the Summer Festival of the Arts on YSU's campus.    After the arts festival the banners were be donated to 1226 Wick Avenue (Downtown Youngstown) for permanent display.

Idora Neighborhood
Association


Unveiled Welcome to Idora Mural on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010 over 75 people turned out for the unveiling of the Welcome to Idora Mural. The mural project was spearheaded by the Idora Neighborhood Association in collaboration with Art Youngstown and the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation. The mural was designed to look like a stained glass mosaic and reads “Welcome to the Idora Neighborhood”. Approximately 100 residents and community members participated in creating the mural.
